Default Video Marketing Concepts

There are many effective online video marketing concepts that are enabling higher sales conversions then ever before. Many internet marketers are now implementing video into their sales pages and greatly increasing their performances.

Some are even going as far as ditching the normal text based sales copy for pure video sales pages. Pure video sales pages seem to be a growing trend because they are more interactive and target visual and auditory senses.

Here's a recent example of a pure digital video marketing sales page that only uses video. Autopilot Sales Formula

While at first glance it appears very minimal I did notice some mistakes.
  • First, I could find not a single link on the page to place my order.
  • Secondly the text in the video presentation didn't quite fit on the screen.
  • Third, there was no way to order the system until the URL was displayed at the end of the video.
  • Forth, the order URL was only displayed for a few seconds. If you missed it tough luck.
  • Fifth, there was no way to fast forward the video to the end.
Some things that he did well in this video was his presentation of social proof, as well as the ability to demonstrate the value of his free Automated Sales Formula.

A couple takeaways I got here are to make it easy to order. Display the link to purchase and don't hide the URL inside your video. Or at least display it prominently at the end for more then three seconds. Also, use social proof and customer testimonials to gain trust.

Mike Filsaime has recently launched the same type of offer, giving away his Seven Figure Code for a small shipping fee. He's delivering a high priced offer for free in return for credit card information and subscription to an ongoing continuity program. (Check the fine print to see what you're getting into before you give your credit card details)

So what do you think, are video marketing sales letters effective and are you more prone to place an order when video is provided? Also, what do you like or dislike about this video? What could Keith have done better to seal the deal?

Default digital video marketing

Digital video marketing is big business these days. I'll be the first to say I'm glad that online marketers are finally moving away from the old hype filled long page sales letters. Who wants to read all that?

This one looks like it was thrown up pretty quick to complete with Mike Filsaime's recent launch. I agree with your comments about the mistakes made, it probably won't matter too much if he's promoting to his email list though.

As for proper SEO I'd say the page would not get ranked well by the search engines without some content. I think at the very least you should have bullet point describing the main points in the video as well as an order link.

Default video web marketing

I think video web marketing is the future. It gives the viewer a more respectable outlook of the product offer and shows that the site owner is an expert and an authority in the subject. With all of the marketing clutter going on it seems that business owners who are different and stand out from the crowd get the best results.

Here's a good example of what I would call a well done video marketing website. It has all the elements together, video, content, bullets, social proof, opt-in etc...

Authority Black Book - Social Marketing Tactics and Web 2.0 Traffic Generation Strategies...

Not to mention it is a free book which would greatly increase opt-in subscribe rates. I like how the video draws you in to take action. I would think this example is an effective way to use video marketing on a sales page.

Default Video Marketing Concepts

Great feedback about video marketing concepts here so far... I've been looking around a little for other online promotional videos that help to gain trust and create sales conversions for website visitors.

The Authority Black Book video concept looks like a good one to increase opt-in conversions.

One of the best places to see the right way to make a promotional video is from an expert in copywriting. You can see an example of a basic presentation video on Michel Fortins blog on the right hand side. See it here: http://www.michelfortin.com/

He's got a basic, powerpoint video with audio presentation. Similar to some of the Rich Schefren videos that were so popular. It's a little slow getting going and is focusing in on the beginning marketer. However it's a good example of how with powerpoint you can create an online video to use on your own blog or website.

Keep up the great postings... If you've got other examples of video marketing concepts done right share them here!

Default Re:video marketing concepts

Video communication is an excellent way for internet marketers to reach their prospective customers and present their products or services. The use of videos on the Internet marketing scene brings a lot of advantages and provides a great solution because of its impact on the visitor and its ability to combine the advantages of "classic" TV advertising with the interactivity offered by the Internet.
