Default Driving While Shooting Video

What's up with all the people driving while shooting video. In the latest video
from Mike Filsaime he's driving and almost gets killed. You can see what I
mean about 1:30 seconds in...

I've seen guys like Frank Kern and Alex Mandossian do this tactic many times.

So what's with it about driving in the car while filming that's so appealing?
My guess is it sucks you in to actually feeling like you're there. It avoids coming
off as as just a sales message and more like 1 on 1 communication, which is
very effective in marketing

What do you think, is driving while filming a good tactic to try?

Oh yeah, Mike's product Traffic Fusion looks pretty good too. I like the idea
of becoming a "Coke" like product. See what I mean here:
