What's your "why" that keeps you motivated?

Mine is to own a vacation condo on the eastern Florida coastline with a view like this:

I have a number of reasons for wanting to make money. I'll be moving to a bigger and better house with a higher monthly rent payment.
However, the main reason is this: A little over one year ago, my best friend left college to get married. He moved out of state and I've always wanted to go back and visit him since the wedding. He now has a daughter as of a couple weeks ago, too. Seeing my friend is my main motivation for wanting to make money.

My motivation is to be successful. A year ago, I was almost bankrupt and had nothing. I really owe my friend for loaning me money and getting me back on my feet. Now, I am really trying to enter a new market and that is making money online. I have found it quite successful, and am starting a new path in my life. I have also earned enough money to pay my friend back.

My motivation is to provide for my friends and family. I know what it feels like to worry about paying bills on time, and I decided I'd never feel that again.

I also want to travel all over the world. Before I need a walker to walk around. Really, I want to visit all 50 states in the U.S. plus be on each of the continents.

But now that I'm dreaming, I wouldn't mind owning a yacht, my own private jet, and a private trainer and chef to follow me like the movie stars.

There are plenty of reason I work hard:

1. I need to eat
2. I need to pay rent
3. I need to be able to pay car payment
4. I need to have spending money to have a life and have fun
5. I need to save up for retirement
6. I need to save up to buymy private island

But honestly, the drive is what makes me work hard the most. The want to succeed more than any material stuff is what fuels me.
