Hi, My name is Matt and I am 20 years old and from OH-IO. I go to a community college full-time and I am studying Business. I stumbled upon this site from a blog. I am very interested in making money online and investing but I do not know where to start. I am a member at MMG, but by the looks of it I think I will be visiting this site more often than theirs because this forum is way more organized.

If anybody in here knows where I could get started at or maybe mentor and teach me a few things that would be awesome!

Welcome to the Paid Insider Forum. Before you begin making money online you need to give some god thought into what you enjoy and what will drive you in the future.

Here's some of the main ways people make money online. This might better help you focus in on the right direction for you...

1. Create content for websites and get paid. Using sites like Associated Content, Helium, Constant Content or Freelance sites like Elance or Rentacoder.

2. Create your own info product around a passion, interest, hobby or skill you have. See my Digital Wealth System for more info on making money selling your own ebooks and info products.

3. Create your own niche blog or content website (non-internet marketing) Blog about your favorite topics and monetize it with your own info product, affiliate marketing or blog widget.

4. Buying and selling domain names or websites. Create your own websites or refurbish an old one you bought cheap and flip them on Digital Point, Site point etc.

5. Affiliate marketing other peoples products. This is a great way to quickly start making some money online. Use Pay Per Click advertising or free article marketing to promote your website promoting an affiliate product. Capture emails by offering an incentive to sign up for even more long term profits.

6. Sell business services online like copywriting, article creation, web design. Many people have a full time income just providing outsourcing services to big companies online from home.

7. Create an ecommerce website and sell products from overseas. Or mix it up with affiliate datafeeds or use dropshipping. Make sure you don't get carried away with how easy this one seems. Creating a successful ecommerce store can be extremely rewarding, but to achieve success can be very time consuming and costly.

Ask yourself which topic interests you the most and seems like you could get behind 100%. Then focus completely on that area of income generation and nothing else.

The biggest obstacle you face getting started with making money online is distraction and not taking action. So I advise you to concentrate on your goals, write them down and focus in on reaching them by constant action. Don't over analyze things or worry about making too many mistakes. It's better to do what you think is right then do nothing.
