My name is YC (actually those are my initials), from Singapore - and came across this site courtesy of the forum admin Matt at StumbleUpon! I like what I've seen so far and really hope I can share and learn from everyone in the community.

Basically I fired my boss a while ago and am having quite a time. You can find out more from my blog (check out my signature below).

Congratulations on giving the traditional job the boot and moving on to bigger and better things. I know from personal experience having working a number of low paying and labor intensive jobs what a great feeling it is to leave it all behind. Moving forward and building your own online business is an extremely rewarding experience.

Thanks for the kind words, Matt! It was a decision waiting to happen as I had never been happy in my routine 9-5 jobs - I was just following the oft-treaded paths that the rest of the world took. While it's still a struggle now at the start, I know from my own experience in other areas that it'll work out if I put in the effort and dedication.

Hope to learn more from you and everyone else here, and to share what I might have to be useful!
