I've been see this lately.
In all the emails I get from the "Guru's", anytime they use the word "free" it is typed "f.ree" Any particular reason? At first I was thinking it was for spam filters; however, that doesn't quite make sense since these are emails to opt-in lists. I've seen it so much lately, I just had to ask. Thanks

Yeah, using f.ree with the period is to avoid the spam filters. The word free is probably the best for attracting the attention of readers. Unfortunately it also attracts the attention of the majority of spam filters.
There are other words that often trigger spam filters such as: For only $ Order now Order within To be removed No obligation Call now home based business make money home business retirement business big money Increase sales money making Act now Full refund Order by phone Order by fax Cash back Major credit cards An invitation to Why wait read to end Oh yeah and viagra!

Ok, that's what I thought it was. But wasn't sure since these emails would be to opt-in subscribers.
Now that I think about it a little, I do find some emails from those lists that I subscribe to in my spam folder. Guess that is why I should white list them instead of assuming the emails will come through. Thanks for the reply!
