The StumbleUpon website is a great resource for finding new and interesting sites from other like minded people. It's also a great way to boost traffic to your own website through a large established StumbleUpon friend network.
Adding these friends and building relationships with other StumbleUpon members is a valuable resource because it can eventually lead to thousands of weekly and even daily visitors to your site. These visitors, while often suffering from something called, Online ADD, also known as online attention deficit disorder, can be well worth while. The value of StumbleUpon traffic becomes evident in the form of new partnerships, link backs and exposure you receive from the site. That's exactly why it's necessary to cultivate and keep your friends by treating them right. Here's some information about how to keep your Stumble Upon friends in good standing and avoid having them break up with you for bad manners. * StumbleUpon Breaks Up Relationships*by*Internet Marketing Mind

Online ADD or online attention deficit disorder is the massive amounts of information overload people have when online. This hold especially true for new business owners online or anyone who's looking to get started with a new online business.
It's this attention deficit disorder that causes many people to lose focus on their critical tasks and not get things done. This eventually leads to online business burnout and causes people to give up trying to make money online. On StumbleUpon, online ADD is exemplified by the behaviors of its users. For example, people who would normally spend minutes or longer on a site or blog, often quickly move from one site to the next. They barely give the site enough time to register in their mind before they have moved on. Take this site for example. Yesterday I received in excess of 600 unique visitors with a lot of that traffic coming from Stumble. The average time on the site for visitors from StumbleUpon is less than 5 seconds. While traffic from other sources stays for many page views and 5 minutes or longer. This could be in large part because much Stumble traffic is not well targeted, however... I'd call that online ADD ![]()
