When I started out online several years ago one of
the things I struggled with was bad sales copy. At first I thought my offer wasn't good enough or that I just wasn't receiving enough traffic. Then it hit me, I was letting hundreds if not thousand of dollars slip away, by not using proper sales copy techniques. One of the fundamentals of any online success is having proven and tested profit pulling sales copy in place. The problem is, it often takes years of practice or hiring very expensive copywriting experts to get it right. Luckily, you can catch a f.ree tele-seminar from a proven expert in the field... David Garfinkel is the founder of the World Copywriting Institute and he's doing something Thursday August 16th he's never done before and probably won't again. On Thursday, at 5 pm Pacific, he's going to do a bare-knuckled, no-holds-barred COPY CRITIQUE of a web page for the World Internet Main Event where he's speaking next month... What's different is he's doing it--In public. Here's why he's nervous... A few years ago, he spoke at a very successful internet entrepeneur's seminar. Who told David that he did NOT want ANY static... challenges... criticism... or controversy about his content, methods, or anything else that had to do with him directly or indirectly. David was agreeable back then... ... but HE WON'T agree to "play nice" anymore! On the public review of the web page on Thursday... Paulie Sabol is in for a good, hard-core, cut-to- the-quick copy critique, the same as he does with his high-end mentoring clients. But there's a difference. With the private clients, it's always in private.) It's too late for Paulie to say, "Aw, Garfinkel's too ***critical.*** I'm not sure I want him speaking after all." David isn't "hoping" to make Paulie's life miserable. But he's going to do EVERYTHING to improve the copy. But if a few harsh words need to be uttered to get him to see the errors of his (copywriting) ways, then, hey -- so be it! ... and you're invited to listen in when all the fun begins! Date: Thursday, August 16 Time: 5 p.m. Pacific / 8 p.m. Eastern Call in info: go to -->Listen to the Tele-Seminar Note: If you would like to see the page he will be critiquing in advance, go to: ==> Website critique Pay special attention to what he's said about David in the copy. See if you can guess how he's going to respond to THAT! ![]() By the way, the copy is for the World Internet Main Event seminar (WIME), taking place in San Francisco September 13-16. This is the ONLY Internet Marketing seminar David will be attending or speaking at this year. If you are interested in finding out more, simply look at the page I'm critiquing for the WIME: ==> Website critique As for the call Thursday night, you can listen in on the phone or via Webcast! Here's the link for more information about the call itself: Listen to the Tele-seminar Hope to see you on the call Thursday, or catch the replay later... Cheers, Matthew Sherborne

That was a very interesting copywriting webcast by David Garfinkel and Paulie Sabol.
They covered a lot of ground in this call about exactly what you need to make your sales pages sell. Subjects like how to tell a story in your testimonials, which details make your sales copy speak to the reader and some interesting information about using audio in the sales page. He even critiqued the guy's hairdoo, harsh... For those of you who missed it you can catch the replay from the link above.
