When I first discovered audio books online, I was beside myself with joy. You see, I grew up on radio plays and radio talk shows. Both my parents were avid listeners of NPR, so they would listen to radio documentaries whenever we were on a long trip.

That’s where I imbibed my love for the audio medium. I placed it above reading and before I knew it, I found myself retreating to the radio corner whenever I had the free time.

Over the years, radios gave way to other audio means and more recently to the audio books that are available online. Audio books online transport me back to my childhood days and I experience the same joy listening to the contents of the audio books online as I did with the old radio plays and talk shows.
