In return you get to add your signature link to your profile to promote your own site for a backlink and potential traffic.

If you follow the above criteria you are by all means allowed

• To activate your signature link go to 'User CP' located on the top left of the forum navigation bar.
• Then click 'Edit Signature' and add your site link with description. Make sure to link from a keyword phrase you want to optimize your site
  for. Limit your signature to no more then three links.
• Now when you make a post make sure to scroll down to 'Additional Options' and click the check box that says, 'Show Your Signature.'
• Every post you make will now show your signature links at the bottom. Giving your site exposure and a backlink.
