Default Find High Value Link Directories

Getting relevant inbound links, submitting to high page rank directories, social bookmarking sites and article submissions are all great ways to add page trust to your website and increase it’s trust with the search engines.

A good way to find high value link directories that will give your site a stronger link is to do a search of a competitors site. To do this you go to Google and enter a keyword or keyword phrase that you’re targeting. Now look at the top results and choose a competitor that’s ranking high in Google for one of these keywords.

Copy the competitors URL and use this query in Google

link:www.competitorsdomain.com directory

By doing this you’ll be able to find relevant directories that your competitor has submitted to. These will most likely be strong back links because they are showing in Google. Submit your site to the same directory sites to target your competitors keyword phrases using anchor text for your URL whenever possible.

Another way to find keyword related directories is to enter your keyword in quotes followed by directory submit like this:

“articles on health” directory submit

Entering this in a search engine will bring up relevant directories for your keyword. This might be a good strategy to try to compete for very competitive keyword phrases.
