1. If you have a
Google sitemap it will greatly help your website pages get indexed and you won't need to submit them manually.

Blog directory and
website directories are two good places to submit your site.

Article marketing and
article submission is one of my favorite ways to generate publicity and website traffic. I have been in the top 30 most popular article on ezinearticles and have received over 100,000 page views to a single article I've posted

5. Video submission is a big deal these days if you're not submitting to video sites you are losing money plain and simple.

6. Blog commenting through related do follow sites is another great way to build quality one-way backlinks to your site. Just make sure to leave good no-spam comments that add something to the conversation.

7. Forum discussion is a great way to build your expert status, get credibility and gain trust. Never spam your links. Instead add valuable content to the conversation and enter your websites url into your signature link to promote your own offers.
8.Social networking on sites like Facebook and
Myspace marketing are great ways to find targeted prospects for your specific products. It all breaks down to how much value you give up front. Don't try to sell people. Instead give them tremendous value in the form of free information, videos, podcasts etc...
9. Social Bookmarking sites are an amazing way to get floods of traffic to your pages. Check out the
Stumble Traffic book, its the closest thing I've found to real push button traffic.
10. Submit classified ads on sites like craigslist.org and usfreeads.com does work well for some niches. However, there are plenty of free ways listed above that can be less time consuming, and costly and receive better results.
